At an elevation of 3,297 feet, Sky Valley is known as the highest altitude city in the state of Georgia. You will find the city between Dillard and Highlands, North Carolina, located on the northwest slopes of Rabun Bald, Georgia’s second highest peak. The northern city limit is also the border with North Carolina.
The area is known for Sky Valley Country Club, where visitors and club members golf on the 6,900 yards of greens surrounded by peaks and valleys. The club also offers tennis and an olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool.
